Our clients are seeking FRANCHISEE CARE HOME OPERATORS to run their own care home sites with the support of a structured business model. So, what are the skills and experiences that will be required of YOU?
Our client is looking for self-motivated people who will commit their efforts to building a business by seeking out opportunities to provide a quality care service, a commitment to supporting staff and to grow and develop the occupancy levels of the homes.
You will be taking on an existing trading and operational business with staff in place and service users in situ so keen leadership and management experience is essential and an ability to understand the financial management of such a business would also be very useful.
You might be a healthcare professional already working in the sector and wanting to do something with your experience and skills for yourself. However, you don’t have to be, if you have the management experience to take on the support and structure and step into running your own care home this could be for you.
Often, people who have been accountants, financial managers, project managers, worked in recruitment or senior corporate managers, all come to decide that being in the care sector is for them.
However, you do need to have a heart – this is a caring business so often people moving into the care sector want to make a difference, so these will be questions we ask you as prospective franchisees for a care home about what you see the priorities of the role.
The most important attribute that you will bring to the role is a desire to build a successful business and take control of both your commercial and financial future.
As you will have read in the Introduction on the website, the business is governed by the CQC and each home and management team needs to ensure that you conform to their standards.
Running a care home can be an extremely rewarding business, but it does come with responsibility and one we hope you will want to take on.
